This building once housed Northumbrian Bakeries. As their advertisement notes “your satisfaction is beyond question” if you are supplied by Northumbrian Bakeries. Such must have been the case when they provided supper at the annual ball of The Alnwick Rugby Football Club held in the Northumberland Hall.
